If you think I made those donuts in the background, you underestimate how much I paid for my tires, and overestimate both my skill level with RWD and  how much power the car makes.

The 2JZ-GE only has enough power to do donuts in snow and maybe rain.

Not that I know from experience.

I did fishtail once, but that’s because I took a blind  30 MPH corner at 65. Uh. Allegedly. In Mexico.

I have an IS300 I am dying to try to autocross with.  I got new tires last year, nice Pirellis.  I was thinking before I got the new tires--wait, but now that I have them I am thinking I should have beat on the old worn out tires before I paid the tire recycling fee on them.

I still have my old tires, because I got an extra set of wheels. I went with Falken Azenis FK510s, and I’m keeping the OEM 16s for winter wheels. Currently they’re on no-names.

Rain should be able to do it. I once did a huge 2nd gear donut   in the rain in a friends crown Vic. He now owns a 2003 gs300 which feels more powerful (it probably just weighs less though.) maybe the world won’t end and I’ll find out for sure  at some point.
